INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install 2 new gaskets and the fuel main hose with the fuel pressure pulsation damper.

NOTICE:

Make sure to install the gaskets in the order shown in the illustration, as the shape of the upper side and lower side gaskets is different.

(b) Using SST, tighten the union bolt.

SST: 09612-24014

09617-24011

  • with SST

Torque: 33 N·m (340 kgf·cm, 24 ft·lbf)

  • without SST

Torque: 39 N·m (398 kgf·cm, 29 ft·lbf)

HINT:

  • This torque value can be obtained by using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) and a SST with 30 mm (1.18 in.) INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: PRECAUTION (2008 Sequoia) .
  • This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.
